Can anyone tell me the exact high and low values to enter into the Trinity for an Autometer wideband? It's been trial and error so far, and I got it close, but would like it perfect if possible..I don't know where to find the #'s .. Anybody logging AFR w/ an Autometer??
Thanks in advance..
Ken

Well, I went from bad to worse.. In searching I came across a "good" thread, so I reset to default and entered new parameters.. Now all I have is volts where before I had AFR readings... Arghhh

The default analog input is in Volts. In the same analog configuration, You can "Add" a new input specifying your upper and lower values. The label and units can be whatever you want.

Thanks ... I can't seem to get to that add new input part.. This is what I did...
Trinity input range is 0-5v. Your autometer is 0v == 15.1 AFR, 4v == 10.1 AFR (Please check it's not 0 == 10.1 and 4v == 15.1).
Do the following:
- Options -> Analog Input Config -> Reset All defaults. (Start fresh)
- Options -> Analog Input Config -> Add a New Parameter.
- Enter a Name (e.g. "My AFR")
- Select the analog input chanel. (1 or 2 depending which wires you used. see:
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... 14&start=0)
- Change Units. (It defaults to "Volts". Change it to "AFR" or anything you want using the '<' button)
- Enter Lower Bound: 15.1 ( maps to 0v)
- Enter Upper Bound: 8.75 ( maps to 5v)
I can't figure out how the '<' button works? It just erases volts on the screen.
Thanks

So is there a drop down menu somewhere to select AFR instead of the default Volts? If I use the '<' button I can erase volts and type in AFR, but it still displays in volts ..
What am I missing, gotta be something stupid?
Thanks in advance

That's the backspace button. Delete the word volts and type AFR.

Exactly what I did, but still displayed in Volts .. I will try again from scratch today.. Thank you

Did you select your new analog pid when creating the dashboard?

I think that's where I went wrong.. Started again from scratch and finally got the AFR on the autometer gauge super close on the Trinity ..
However, when I entered the following #'s from a post above it was nowhere close...
Enter Lower Bound: 15.1 ( maps to 0v)
- Enter Upper Bound: 8.75 ( maps to 5v)
I wound up experimenting and settled with 10.0 as the lower bound, and 17.5 as the upper.. I'm now within .05 to .1 difference between the Autometer AFR gauge and what's showing on the Trinity.. Pretty close ..
Thanks for the help

srt8 you had it backward with the previous settings. you are right with what you did at the end of your last post. Lower boundry is just that, the lower limit of your reading and upper boundry is upper limit. I use a autometer wideband in my srt4, but i cant remember my settings. your settings look close.

Agreed .. I was going on the post by jimb ..

- Enter Upper Bound: 8.75 ( maps to 5v)
I wound up with 10.0 low and 17.5 high and shot a video and when I stop it, it's real close ...
Thanks
