Trinity not properly unmarried ?

Post by Chris_ »

I purchased a used Trinity t1000 and hooked it to my 06 Dodge Ram 5.9

1) Not being familiar with the unit I elected to restore backup it partially progressed and then failed.

2) vehicle ECM settings were affected as truck will not start

3) After reading - I believe the unit was not properly unmarried from previous vehicle

A) Did I Permanently damage the ECM on my truck

B) Can I correct the ECM issue with the Trinity ?

C) Can the Trinity be unmarried ( the other vehicle was sold ) so that I can use it ?

D) Will scanning the ECM with a Dealer scan tool correct the ECM issue ?

Thankyou
frankl

Chris, you will need to take the truck to the dealer to have a factory flash. keep a copy of your service order from the dealer. Once this is done give us a call and we can take care of the rest.
