Trinity and mopar Torque converter?

Hello guys,

I am thinking on buying a new mopar performance torque converter for my 09 charger srt8, but it seems that I need to buy a mopar TCU in order to make the transmission works correctly.

My question here is if the Trinity is able to replace that mopar TCU? as far as I know some changes in the axle ratio are needed, i attached the comments from a SRT engineer about the TC and the TCU...

Stock vs Mopar Torque Converter
SRT Eng Response: The stock converter stalls at 1900rpm. Mopar Performance does offer a performance TC (P5153726) with a 2500rpm stall speed. However in order to use it, it requires the Mopar Performance TCU (P5153332.) If you have a way to change the axle ratio in the TCU that could be used on an SRT-8.

SPECIAL NOTE:
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
Proper operation of the MOPAR Performance Torque Converter requires installation of the Transmission Control Module (TCM) upgrade with optimized calibration and shift schedule.

Failure to utilize the proper TCM upgrade with the MOPAR Performance Torque Converter will cause the transmission to go to limp-in mode after a severe acceleration. In this protection mode, the transmission is place in neutral (N) indepenently of the gear shifter selection. It will remain in this state until the ignition key is turned OFF and ON again to reset the transmission control module parameters. Also a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set and the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) activated.

PM me if you haven't bought the converter yet. I have one for sale thats never been installed. I'm going with ProTorque instead. The Mopar actually stalls at 2800 on the 6.1. The 2500 stall is on the 5.7.

The tranny won't go into limp mode if you jack up the rev limiter in the Trinity. As long as you don't hit the limiter, its fine.

There is a different Mopar Performance TCM for the SRT's. It is P5155177. According to Mopar Direct Connection: The only difference between the non-SRT TCM and the SRT TCM is that the SRT TCM is factory set for the SRT's 3:06 rear end.
