New U7191 8r08 Revision Help

Post by Goatluver »

2005 Pontiac GTO - U7191 8r08

I checked the Diablo site and noticed that the new revision for U7191 is available. Last month I had to have the PCM replaced in my 05 GTO and worked with Mike and Johan for the information needed for the new revision. Today I updated my Predator and it communicates with the new PCM! Hooray, but...I did, however, make a mistake  . I backed up the factory tune onto the Predator then copied to my PC. Then I imported the custom tune from my PC that was created on the old PCM and loaded it into the car. I did the appropriate steps to load the tune and tried to start the car. Unfortunately it wont start now. I didnt realize the custom tune from the old PCM wouldnt work with the new PCM. My bad. I contacted DS support and was told by a tech that the stock tune from the new PCM would need to be overlayed onto the custom tune that was created. If Mike, Cole, or Johan wouldnt mind taking care of this for me it would be greatly appreciated.

*Also, since I installed the custom tune from the old PCM the Predator prompts "Unable to read p/n of first calibration file."

Does the car run now?
Use the Predator to restore the backup before doing anything else.
If the car does not run, give me a call at the office with the tool powered up in the car.

Thanks
