Dealer PCM flash. What do I need to do first?

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8, with a Predator U7135 custom tune. Recently, I had a body shop remove and replace the door handle on driver's door. Now it will not lock. I was told I need to take it to the dealer for a PCM flash. What do I need to do to make sure I can reload my custom tune. I have an after market camshaft and can't really drive the car with out the custom tune.....HELP!!!

No pro here, but this is the way I understand it and operate as I have a couple custom email tunes I run.

First, do you have the custom tune saved on your computer, hard drive, usb stick or something? if so, then just return your car to stock. When you do that it will erase the custom tune on the predator. Then when you get the car back, send that tune back tot he predator and load it to the car.

if you don't have it saved, save it NOW! Use the DS downloader and get tune from file and save it to your computer.

Not sure about having it reflased to have the door handle lock.

The door locks have nothing to do with the PCM. I've swapped handles multiple times and have never needed a flash. They screwed up the install. The door handle is mechanical, not electronic.

Most cams can be run without a tune anyway. Unless you changed injectors too, you could take the tune off to go to the dealer, or when you get to the dealer, have them do their flash, and then reinstall it.

Thanks guys. Maybe I will have them mess with the door handle again before doing a flash at the dealer...
