Trinity will not turn on

I got an 04 ram diesel with 5.9 cummins. I was installing the a pillar and attachment and running the wires for my egt probe. Never hooked any of them up because I was going to get a right angle
Drill. Started the truck up, trinity would not come on.
Checked the cable, looks fine. Hooked it up to my
Computer and it wouldn't turn on. Hooked up my code reader in the obd2 port and it turned on. So no problem there. I just got this about 2 weeks ago and it's acted finicky kind of flickering from
Time to time and there are a couple of dead pixels. I think there is a problem with the unit itself.. What are my options? Please someone let me know.. I'm stuck on the extreme tune and I need to do some towing. I loved this thing and this sucks. I always used a window shade too So it wouldn't be in the sun.

I bought it brand new from a retail performance shop too' and I can get another copy

So it does not even power up on the USB connection?

I just plugged it into my computer and it does turn on! It didn't last night though.. I re checked this morning and the obd2 cable looks fine, re-checked my obd2 port and it's fine, it just won't power up when plugged into my pickup.

check your fuses for cig. lighter, aux power ports... the obd port is on the same circuit, so if one of those fuses is blown, the obd port won't have power either...
