2010 camaro second gear throttle tweeky?

Post by aspruneda »

I have a 2010 camaro 2SS/rs automatic L99
Trinity #6JWDA8C on version v.1r08b running 91 octane tune
I have a K&N filter and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. I'm noticing that when I am driving with tapshift that second gear throttle response is really edgy. If I try to ease on the throttle it seems like it lags and then kind of jumps. It almost feels like the first quarter inch of pedal does nothing and all of a sudden it gets more throttle than I wanted. It can be a bit unsettling in a parking lot. It doesn't seem to do it in any other gear just second. It seems kind of odd because the tune shouldn't care what gear it's in or does it? I'm new to this kind of tuning so I'm not sure. BTW spanked an new 5.0 today so thanks for the extra ponies.

I just had another thing I was thinking. I do notice it right after coming off of decelerating and getting back into the throttle too. I don't know if that could be part of the problem. I've started logging and using redux. So far the data I've collected looks like the tune is really close to being spot on will continue logging and checking to be sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
