MAFIA on SVT 2001 Mustang

Client has the Predator (with custom tune) and a Mafia unit, and they trailered the car here...this thing is so 'fat' that it's making smoke. Shows over 55 grams/second at an idle....so I'm pretty sure either this MAFIA has failed, or the 'custom tune' is pretty whacked.
The car was running perfectly fine--then just went stupid rich, so I'm suspecting the MAFIA in this case...
Can I fire it down for repair ?
