(I am changing my Vortech kit for a Kenne bell 3.6 kit) Is there is someone who have the answer;
When I put the included (Kenne Bell) map sensor, the red lightning light, appear on the dash, and when I put the stock map sensor (SRT8) there is no red lightning light,
What is the Difference between those two maps, that make the computer not to recognize other map, is there is another (PCM) control, like (TCM), which disturbs the reading, is this can be my (TCM) the problem?
I try with another (PCM) and two other map sensor and it the same thing.
I did not try with another (TCM)
This problem began with my Vortech, every thing was perfect, for 3 years, it come from Arizona Speed and Marine. One day, I go to the dealer to install (the latest dealer SRT8 upgrade software). (I know now, I did a mistake)
I have a that time a Vortech supercharger kit, before the dealer upgrade, I put back the original backup software, after the original dealer upgrade software install, I try to put back the Vortech custom tune software, it didn’t go because the (DRG) number (05030232ae) have change, To (05030232af) so I have to resent the original backup software to my tuner guy, to make another one, it work perfectly except the map sensor problem, always the same code P0129 (Barometric pressure low).
If I put back the SRT8 stock map sensor, I have no fail code, I have try with 3 different SRT4 map sensor, same thing, with any tune.
Jim Shofner from Arizona Speed and Marine
Have make tree tune to correct it, same thing.
Dave from B&G have try with 3 tune, same thing, than he make a special tune with have to use the stock map, and I leave it like this till I change for this Kenne Bell kit.
Now I am working with Adam from St Motorsport, for my Kenne bell kit, he make 4 different tune from now with data log... same thing, I didn’t follow up because it was late and busy, I have to take another appointment to continued,
I don’t thing that a standard custom tune are able to correct that, I thing the problem cum from something else.

where are you loacted?
I would find a CRM tuner in your area and get it properly tuned, Mail order tunes are very hard to get right when you have that many mods.

I have purchased my kit from St-motorsport and Adam is one of the top for tuner, he did 4 tune with my login data, same problem, I didn't go futher because it was late, the garage guy want to close and Adam is very very busy, I have to make another appointement to finish it.
I just whant to save is time, I am convice that the problem is not in the tune, in my first tread I explain this curious problem.
I just whant to fix this problem before I call Adam to finish the job.

Understood, and your right, Adam has as much experience with the KB HEMIs as ANYONE....
If you'd like, post up the tune file and we can take a look to see if anything stands out.
There has been a rash of SRT4 map sensors being sent out that are actually 1 bar sensors, if thats the case, you can see it at key on Baro.

I have try 3 difference SRT4 map sensor with my vortech 2 years ago, same problem before Dave From B&G do a spécial tune to use my (stock SRT8) map sensor.
An now this Kenne Bell cum with a map sensor from Adam, same problem.
I may be wrong but may be it cum from TCM who disturb only the SRT4 map ???
do it have a link together??

post the tune here.
with the 2 bar installed, and a tune set up for the 2 bar sensor, turn the key on, and check the BARO PID and see what it says.

Are you at elevation?
I would expect to see closer to 14.7 psi, or about 100 kpa.
