LTFT variance between banks

Post by stickers »

I just started doing some tuning with my U7193, ver 1.11 (very old, I know), and my LTFT's for bank 1 is -2.47, bank 2 is -5.6. Is this normal to have a difference this great between the 2 banks, or is bank 2 running rich for some reason?

I appreciate the help.

Forgot to add: car is an 04 GTO, LS1. No mods other than MAF screen removed and IAT relocated to stock airbox.

How many miles are on this car?
Make sure your fuel system is up to par, and the fuel filters are clean.
Check your spark plugs and ignition system, and monitor your O2 sensors to be sure they are functioning properly.

How long are you monitoring the fuel trims? I would see that with mine also but with enough steady driving (cruise control) they would fall into line relatively close if not even.

thanks, i was thinking about the plugs. the car has 36k on it, and the plugs may be fouled.
