Shift Pressure

Post by Iceberg »

How do I adjust the shift pressure to be more like stock. It shifts hard from first to second and sometimes for 2-3. I have the performance tune installed. I have had the transmission control module and ignition switch replaced once by the dealer before I bought the Predator. Would this make a differnce in shifts?

Have you tried lowering the line pressure in the adjustable parameters?

Thanks

OK I lowered the shift pressure and that has helped. Do I lower the pressure for the other shift points or just the ones that are to hard? Now how do I get the truck to kick down a gear faster. Sometimes it will feel like it is going to downshift when I step on it but then it does not go down to the next gear. It feels like it is just on the edged of shifting. Will shift speed help this or is there another adjustment I need to make.
