When you change the axle ratio what exactly happens?
and when you change the tire/diameter size is it only the speedo that changes?
Just wondering if , when I change the tyre diametre size anything happens in regards to the odometer or axle or is it just the speedo that changes.
I ask because I`ve installed new gauges and I want to use my Predator to correct my speedometer which reads 5 mph too fast and don`t like the idea of banging miles on my car i`m not doing.

RE: Speedo question
I take it I`m good to alter the diametre size to compensate the speedo?
RE: Speedo question
Strange. If you haven't got your question answered yet, then mine surely won't either. I am trying to figure that maze of a mess explanation for tire size input for my speedometer. If anyone ever answers you (and it doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon) let me know. Thanks Mike

RE: Speedo question
changing axle ratio or tire size corrects the speedo for the new ratio or tire height.
if you changed gauges, and they are off, you should look into what is wrong with the gauges.
Lying to the PCM to fix the gauge is not a good idea
