Put the XV manifold back on my Jeep, and its running so smooth. It almost makes me wanna keep her. Nobody wanted this mani, so I swapped it with the Inertia I've had on the truck, since I can sell that no problem. Its running so much better with this mani. Sure, theres a serious loss of low end power, but it still pulls better then most cars on the road. Not to mention it just looks so much cooler then the stock barrel.

makes me wonder if you had an intake gasket leak before and thats why its running so much better...it would explain alot of things...

Wait a minute....are you really trading it in?
As in, getting a new V?

You wont miss her for a second once you roll off hte lot in that fantastic car.

I'm going up to the dealer on Sunday. If they're willing to make a deal, I'll buy the V. Its not new though. 2009 w/ 16k on it. I can't touch a new one. Trying to get my payments down, not way up.

As far as the intake gasket leak goes, I have no intake gaskets at all. I'm running the Thermalnator spacers and they said to run them without gaskets since they sorta act as gaskets. A leak would not surprise me in the least.

Was so close to making a deal on a new 2011 V sedan Black Diamond edition. And then they lowballed me on the Jeep and killed the deal. She's gotta go back to almost stock. Thats the second lowball this weekend on her.

The deal is as good as done. 2011 CTS-V Sedan, Black Diamond edition, Automatic, every option. Getting it for Invoice. Don't have a firm value on the Jeep yet, but they guarantee it won't be less then $30k. Gotta drive up to Hartford tomorrow or Saturday to sign off on it.

Let the games begin.........
