Predator powers up incompatible hardware

I've been trying to upgrade to the latest tune for an 2010 Charger SRT8 - I keep getting a win32 error.
My predator is a 2005-2007 model.

How do I reboot my hand held predator to stop the error "incompatible hardware" at boot-up?

How do I correct the win 32 error.

Not sure how it posted twice -

I had no trouble downloading the DS Downloader 2.2.2.6 and Prolific Driver PL2303 v110.exe

My problem is the hand held predator keeps booting up with the error "Incompatible Hardware" with nothing attached from the computer (just the power cord).
Is there a way I can reboot the hand held with a keystroke sequence that will pass the boot up error.

Now when i plug in my hand held predator it boots up with a blank screen.
Is there anything I can do at this point?

One of the techs is gonna have to answer this. I'm thinking the CROM file might not be installed, but I'm not sure.

You need to reload the crom file to the tool.

When you open DSDownloader, there is a link on the first page that says, 'if your tool displays application missing or corrupt, click here', if you click there, it will walk you through reloading the crom through legacy connect.
