I installed a trinity on my '11 sierra 1500 5.3 2 months ago

I just had some weird problems with it:

Door locks opens and locks again while driving

And twice while driving the electricals ( lights, ac, cd) & I think the engine switched off and then on immediately

I don't know the reason for that can anyone help?

if you installed it two months ago, and this JUST happened, it's doesn't sound like a tune issue...

if it was a tune issue or because of the tune install, it would have done that immediately...

sounds like you have an electrical issue somewhere...

have anything new installed in the past two months??

Nothing new was installed

I installed the American racing headers with Henson exhaust and air aid filter all with the trinity 2 months ago

But I keep my trinity on all the time and I clear the check engine light almost everyday, does that affect ?

Why are you clear check engine light every day? that is a pretty good indication something is wrong

I noticed that my trinity does not like heat even a little bit. I can't even mount it on the windshield anymore. I have to let my truck run and cool off otherwise the trinity goes haywire and unresponsive when I plug it in. When I do any tuning I have to do it in a hurry because it does this sometimes in the middle of tuning as the heat in the vehicle starts to heat up. Once I left it plug in and turned on on a hot day making a few things in my truck door locks, gauges, and other things to do funny things when I turn my truck on, my engine light came on with codes related to the malfunctions. This may be his problem too. I hope that there will be a fix for this.

Headers won't cause a engine light to turn on, unless they are leaking.

Mine is a long pipe and it cause the engine light due to the missing catalyst converter

yes they do... will get trouble codes for the O2 sensors with long tube headers..

as mike mentioned above, you need to get a custom tune done for your setup, so that you can also get the trouble codes disabled...

Sorry I was thinking of shorty headers.
What do you think about my overheating problem 06MonteSS or mike.
