factory tune screwed

Post by gunracer »

i desided to reset my predator today to clear the memory to try running my car without a certain tune and see if thats my problem, but when the factory tune was loaded and the predator was reset i started the car as i always have it wasnt running right. my rpms were around 585 instead of 750, and it sounded like massive cam lope. my cams are stock, fyi. it has never done this before. i have the orginal tune saved on my computer about a year ago, but not sure how to put it on the predator so it can replace the one that is on there now. please help. thanks

if it helps i have a 2005 magnum 3.5l v6 4 speed

Just pull the battery cables for a while and let everything reset.

How long, exactly? 30 seconds? Does this wipe the car's computer and reset defaults?

30 seconds should be fine. It'll reset all the adaptives and the computer will start learning from scratch.
