Hello i am looking to purchasing a trinity tuner for my 08 sierra 5.3. I have a cold air intake and a cat back exhaust and a hypertech Max energy, when I added the hyper tech I noticed and loss in bottomend power. I've been told that happens bc the programmer doesn't work good with afteramarket products. Is this true? And if so would the trinity work better? Could I use the tunes that come with the tuner or would I have to go to a custom tune?
Thanks Jarod

RE: 2008 gmc sierra tune questions
So I can use the tunes that come with the programmer with my air aid intake and cat back? How much hp gain would I get?
RE: 2008 gmc sierra tune questions
FWIW it woke my 2500hd 6.0 up ALOT. Plus you can get custom tunes for your 5.3 with the Trinity or Predator. I lost zero torque/hp, only gains man. It was a whole new truck. Try it out..you wont be sorry..
