So does any body know whats safe or over doing the options givinn? I have a 2000 Z-71 and it has an 05 5.3 in it. I dont under stand like the fuel curv, spark advance, ext. and also what is the COT? is that Cut Off Temp? Anyways I like the trinity and it was worth the wait, so if any body can help me it would be great. P.S. Only thing done to the truck was A K&N cold air kit, Single Flowmaster Exhaust, Corvette Servo in the tranny, And the 05 avelanch 5.3L, Truck came with a 5.3 so no change there. Thanks

RE: Custom Tune for the first time
With your mods, there really isn't a need to do anything to the canned tunes. You are good to go on that end. Now if you did want to make changes, I would suggest to you that you do some data logging before changing parameters.
RE: Custom Tune for the first time
ok thanks for the info
RE: Custom Tune for the first time
Ok, I know this has been explained a million times on here. I just Want to know that I do this right. First, How how I save my factory tune to my laptop, How do I save my own custon tunes, And how do, And what needs to be data logged so I can post It? (I need a normal driving log) How far is ideal for a good log? (1/4 Run-WOT run) How many would be good to have to make sure I have 1, And Do I need to do all this with or with out the programmer installed?
