2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid

Post by StreamL1ne »

Product I have is a 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid (two-mode hybrid 6.0L)
Items I am looking for ability to control and monitor.

1) Be able to adjust the timing for shift from Electric to gas.
(I can drive 20 - 25 miles per hour running electric have made it to 30. I want to further code it to allow system to run to 40 miles per hour which is within the performance range. )
2) Battery optimization
(Currently the engine starts when battery reached 60% - 80% battery remaining, want to extend the electric only to allow to reduce to 10% - 20%)
3) Adjust the peddle depression to allow electric only with pressing the peddle further.
(Currently if you do more than tap the peddle the gas engine turns on.)
4) Would like to monitor the battery actual power levels and voltage.

Thanks,
Jason

We do not offer support for the hybrid tahoes.

You should realize that the things you are looking for are not likely a reality even if someone offered support for the hybrid models (which I dont think will happen anytime soon).

Hybrid vehicles are way to common nowadays! I guess this is the most practical solution on making vehicles run further but consumes the least fuel no matter the size of the vehicle is.

Actually many diesels burn less gas then Hybrids, and have 700+ mile ranges on a tank of gas. Hybrids are for the smug buttheads that think they're so good for the environment. Too bad they don't have the foresight to think about the energy used to make the batteries and whats going to happen to them after their useful lives are over.
