NO MODIFICATIONS WILL VOID YOUR WARRENTY UNLESS THEY DIRECTLY CAUSE A PROBLEM.
Read that a few times. Thats the law. Learn it, know it. If a dealer tells you otherwise, they're full of crap and they don't know about the Magnuson-Moss Warrenty Act, that says you can put whatever parts you want on your car, and the manufacturer cannot void the warrenty unless said parts directly cause the problem you want fixed. Burden of proof is on the dealer.

The tuner will save your backup before it installs the tune. YOU NEED THAT BACKUP. Before going to the dealer, put the backup back on the car. If they flash the computer while the tune is on your car, they'll write over it and will lock up your tuner.
