2001 ford lightning cant datalog

[2001FORD]

2001 ford lightning u7158 having an issue getting the dataviewer to work. it will see it but stay at "acquiring vehicle information" tried first with 9r01 and then upgraded to 9r03 using dsdownloader and that was fine. when i tired to datalog again to got stuck at acquiring vehicle information. trued changing com port form 7 to 2 and nogo buadrate is at 115200 on tool and pc. should i try with other usb to serial ?? this is the same cable i did the upgrade with.
