Predator crashed.

Hello, My Predator seems to have crashed, I Had v.9r07 and was trying to update to 9r08 Ds downloader said it updated and everything seems ok. But it rebooted and says Application is Missing or Corrupt, I've tried everything I followed this post http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... ic&t=23259 to the letter it updates reboots says the same thing. Tried re downloading Ds downloader and v.9r08 on a different computer still gets the same error I don't know what else to do.

2003 dodge ram cummins.

Also Im using the Pc usd to serial interface kit from diablosport.

try reloading 9r07

I tried loading 9r07 in the tuner two times get the same error .

Ok I finally got it to work, I google and found this

ALCON,

I had this same problem. It's not a corrupt file........

I called Tech Support and they have a workaround for the update problem. Here are the steps:

1. Connect your USB-to-Serial cable to your computer with your Predator connected, but do not power on the Predator
2. Open DSdownloader
3. Make sure Predator, U7137, and All versions is selected on the Tool Communications Configuration window.
4. Select Accept Modifications button
5. On the main DiabloSport Downloader 2.2.1.9 window, select the Options drop down menu
6. Uncheck Auto-Connect and Check Legacy-Connect
7. Select the correct COM port under the File, Options, and Help drop-down menus at the top of the window. Ensure a baud rate of 115200 is selected
8. Select the Express Tune Mode Tab at the bottom of the window
9. Select the Update Tool button, browse to the new crom file, and double mouse click it or select open.
10. When the message pops up to power cycle the predator do it
11. When the windows pops up asking if you want to download the update select yes
12. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP TO GET BY THE PROBLEM EVERYONE IS HAVING WITH THE â€œMissing application or Corrupt fileâ€

Ok I tried 9r08 again and it gave me the same error. But I use the steps I found above and it installed and is working now. Is 9r08 screwy? Or does my preador just hate me?

sounds like a predator that is a bit fussy
