Can't install new Pedator

A few months ago I bought an 03 Chev 2500HD that has had the security light illuminated on the dash (I figured somebody previously had installed command start on it then partially removed it and this was it's issue as it does funny stuff with the door locks at times)

Any way I bought the U7180 for it and the dealer installed the latest revision he said a week ago and when I try to install it it says application does not match vehicle, any ideas where to start?

What is the exact error message?

Was it a new tool?
What is the revision?

Says version v.9r10

Display comes up product does not support your vehicle, contact reseller, this was purchased new a week ago.

That is odd, any chance you can give us a call with the tool powered up in the truck?
