U-7194 Tire size question

Post by Bobbert »

I just purchased my Diablo 7194 yesterday for my newbody 4.8L silverado.

I replaced my factory 245/70/17 tires/wheels with 275/55/20 avalanche take off's.

I tried to change for this on the diablo, uploaded the tune. Drove about 3-4 miles and the abs light and parking brake light come on. I read in the manual that the new GM pcm can't accept a tire size height of over 35in or it will disable the abs system, well I go into the diablo, and it's sitting on 36in. I change it down, save, go back and it's on 36 again.

No matter what I do for tire input, after I save it and go back and look at it it doesn't change, it stays at 36. Also where you can put in the tire size, aspect ratio, wheel size. I change those, they do the same thing, they won't save my input values.

Can somebody lend me a hand? Thanks.

In case it's needed:

You forgot to tell them how much more power it had over the Blunt Revolution.

Yeah you're right, I did!

I had a Evolution by that "other" company. Man does it suck comapred to the Diablo, holy crap at the difference! I was shocked and blown away, didn't think I'd feel THAT much of a difference between the two but I sure as hell did.

Make sure the Predator is on the newest revision, there was an older rev. that did not adjust tire size correctly.

Thanks

Matt updated it right before we installed it, so I was sure it wasn't that.

However Saturday we updated again and now it works great, so the issue is resolved. Thanks
