Hello togehter,

I have following issue and hope someone can help me.
We have a Dodge Challenger 6.4 Hemi 392 Mj. 2011 with around 4000 miles.
The MIl Light keeps on coming after driving the car steady on the Highway over 70 mph.
There are two fault codes in the PCM:

- P2097 and P2099 downstream fuel trim System 1 and 2 rich

On the Dealerconnect from Chrysler there was a TSB Update available for exact this issues, a Software Update for the PCM.

Anyway after the Update issue is still here after 150 km driving.
Does anyone have this issue also out there and could it be solved?

Thanks

Markus

Have you modified the car in any way?

If its stock then go back to the dealer and let them deal with it. You're under warranty, may as well use it.

Did you try calling Chrysler? Normally I'd condemn the O2 sensors, but with such low mileage, it seems iffy. I guess there could be a small exhaust leak. Or maybe corrosion on the O2 sensor pins on the harness side?

I checked all that and it is fine! Car is brand new. To me it seems that it is a Software issue I just wanted to be sure or get some feedback if someone else has the same issues?

I came across some people with the same issues on Challenger Talk, and they mentioned all the things I mentioned above. The TSB is for 392 Automatics, so I assume thats what we're talking about?

Yes the issue is known but for me it is not solved with the TSB that is my problem

I will check the Kats now to see if they are harmed since he has beed driving a while with the MIL lights on.

Thanks for your thoughts!
