I purchased a Diablosport Predator U7153 a number of years ago for my 1999 F150 5.4L. I recently sold the F150. The new owner didn't want the tuner, so I restored the factory backup and kept it. I also have a 2003 F350 7.3L Diesel. Can the U7153 be re-programmed for the Diesel?

No. Predators are only for the models/engines they were designed for and cannot be changed.

Correct, you'd need the actual U7170 tool.
