2007 srt8 rpm or speed reducer for maintenance
I'm sick oo technicians beating the snot out of my car when I get it serviced Anywhere...............So my question is. Is there a way use the tuner to limit the rpms when driving or limit the Max speed...only when car is in for Any kind of service.....the last time, I had a quarter tank of gas the tech went 13 miles test driving after strut install,,,,,,,,on a 1/4 tank of gas...Mother *$#****..I can drive 80 miles on a 1/4 tank.............anyway any info would be grateful,,,,,Thanks

You shouldn't have any tune on your car when you bring it in for service. If they flash the computer you just lost the tune and locked up the Predator. Because of that, anything thats done won't have any effect anyway.

What I am talking about is when I get an oil change or tire rotation or struts put on or brakes done....the tech feels the need to race my car around...........I once painted a car for a guy who had a 4000 rpm chip put in so you couldn't race his car..it wouldn't go over 4,000 rpms....this is what I meen...... I was hoping the tuner could allow me to do this, with the tuner.

A CMR tuner could do it. Might be able to do it with the handheld, not sure. I think if you limit the rpms the tranny may not shift. You don't want some jerk running along at 4000rpm for miles. You may be able to do it with the speed limiter though. Check and see how low it will go. I know it goes to 190 on the big end, never checked the low limit.
