i know i have to fill out a request RMA request forum, after that point of me filling that out and paying what exactly is the process???

I got that much. Does it need to be powered up in the truck or on the computer? I can borrow the cables to hook it to my computer if need be. I don't have my truck anymore so if it needs to be in a truck will any do?

doesn't matter... as long as it's powered up... you don't have to be in the truck.. just need the tool powered up... either by a vehicle obd port, or by the ac power adapter...

any obd port should power it up...
