2008 silverado- wont start with trinity plugged in

Vehicle: 2008 chevy silverado 1500 z71 ltz

I restored the factory tune to the truck, took off the trinity to update to v.1r08. After I updated I plugged back into the truck. It says that it can't backup the original bc there I a performance tune already installed. The tuner shows that it has written a tune but says trinity is not married yet nothing to show. The truck won't start with the programmer plugged in now.
How do I get back to being able to use my trinity?
