So I got my predator and I have loaded the diablosport tune into my car and everything is great. The only problem is when I try to use the Data Viewer. When I got my predator it had an older firmware rev (v.8r04) so I downloaded the new one (v.8r07) and got it on the predator no problem using the DSdownloader. No I try to upload logs to the Data viewer and I do everything it says and the tuner itself actually will say "under remote control" but the software says "please update your firmware and reboot the tuner now" and I cant get it to work however many times I try. Thanks in advance for your help.

Oh and I have an 2005 GTO so its the 7191

Do you have the latest data viewer? If not you can download it on the U7191 downloads page, the latest rev had a fix for log upload.

I downloaded the firmware update and the data viewer yesterday (version 3.0.0.14) so I believe it is the latest one. My computer interfaces with the predator no problem with the DSdownloader and the E40 PC interface so Im kind of at a loss here, especially since the tool itself says "under remote control" and the software does respond it just tells me to keep rebooting the tool "after I update the firmware."

I have seen one issue like this where if you select ALL parameters and log them this happens, one should not do that anyway as the sample rate gets very low. Not sure if thats what you did.

Johan's discription of selecting "all' is what caused the same problem for me.

Well I tried just selecting a few parameters just to see what would happen and the software again told me that the "tool appears to be an old version, please consider updating your firmware and reboot your tool"
Any recomendations?
Other than that I am very happy with everything!
