Track results for 2010 Challenger R/T with STP
I took my 2010 Challenger R/T with Super Track Pack to the drag slip a couple weeks ago. I've read on here that the 91 CAI tune is better for the set up I'm running (CAI and thermostat). The results were dramatically different between the 91 CAI, 93, and the 93 CAI tune. After data logging and finding a gas that didn't cause knock, I always run the 91 CAI tune but wanted to test it.
The 91 CAI tune ran 13.4, 93 ran 14.7 and the 93 CAI tune was right at 15. These times were ran at Richmond Dragway on Oct 7,2011 so you can do the DA calculations if needed.
I also turned the ESP off (posi track) but the faster 0-60MPH times were ran with the ESP on. Next time I go to the track I'll leave the ESP on.
Just wanted to throw this on here for a reference.

what did it run stock? Do you have any trap speeds or 60ft times?
You had a 1.6s discrepancy between different tunes? Sounds like something else went wrong... did it start raining for the other runs? LOL!

Sound like heat soak. How long did you wait between runs?

yeah, 1.6 seconds is on the driver, not the tune
Safe to assume this is a manual trans?

I never ran the car stock. 1/8 mile 8.74 at 81; 1/4 mile 13.4 at 107 was my fastest time. The issues with the other runs will be addressed in future post.

I don't think heat soak was an issue as I drove an hour and a half just to get to the track. The temp was the same the whole night and the time between runs was about the same.Mike_Levy wrote:Sound like heat soak. How long did you wait between runs?

what were the 60' times?
there is so much more to a 1/4 mile pass than ET and MPH, especially when trying to diagnose changes.

Yeah, like spinning tires! Probably why you ran better times with the ESP on....those tires were spinning more with it off and you may have never noticed it....but the car did!mikel wrote:what were the 60' times?
