U1794 upgrade question

I purchased a used U1794 from someone who used it on a '07 Silverado 1500. It currenty has v9r03 on it. Can it even be upgraded to the newest so support my '11 Silverado 1500. I have the cables to do the upgrade, but I'm not goin to go to the trouble if it the older version that won't hold the larger file.

It says 07-08 GM trucks on the back. There is also a barcode with 202057 on the back.

nope... that tool is too old... highest revision you could go up to is 9r08 or 9r10, which still does not have 2011 support...

trade it in to diablo and get a new 7194 predator for just $250... or you can get a $100 credit towards the purchase of a Trinity -

the Trinity would be the better purchase, since it has more features, better data logging, tcm support for 6-speed trannies currently and 4-speed support coming soon, will be a future update for it to allow you to tune more than one vehicle at a time, etc..

predator's will not be getting any new functionality updates like that.. . they're done and will be phased out soon...

No he can't.... That's a different issue.... His 7194 is an older model one, has less memory in it... It can not take. The newer, bigger from revision update files... totally different issue than what you're talking about...
