I have same issue with my '08 G8-GT ... I have DiablewTune custum tunings n it never stopped it from cutting out at 138 mph .. I've since concluded it cant be done since Lew cudnt get it to stop cuttin out with the Custom Diablewtunes... Which by the way if u havent yet it is the best $125 i spent on my GT since purchasing the initial Trinity programmer.. His tunes will wake that 6.0 like nuttin u've seen yet .. Promise u that ... Hmm, 138, it is possible it might be using this other limiter then, try the attached file for that here, Australian calibrations are a little odd.

I updated and installed the tune and car runs fine,no extra dash lights everything is fine with that, havent driven the car yet and wont be till spring,... But I was reading about all the transmission tuning so was going to just take a look at the modify tune section on the tool to see what was there,.... and its giving me a Original Back up tune corrupt, can not tune vehical, message,... I have several copys of the original tune, that I've went back to on several times before up dating the tool and have had no problems, on my laptop,... soo whats to be done here?
