how to install a Revolution on an 03 GT

I bought a C & L cold air kit and a 90m maf meter from a buddy of mine.
We have almost the same bolt ons done.
His has a little different exhaust and he has different gears than me.
Will it stiff work with my setup?
How do I install it?
I have never done a chip install.
Can someone give me a detail instruction on how to install this chip.And if you think it will make improvments to my car having different exhaust and gear ratio?

I'm assuming you're talking about a 03 Mustang GT? You'd need a 7146 predator, not a revolution chip.... 1999 and newer vehicles use a flash programmer, not a chip...
