99 WS-6 EGR Delete

Post by dustinsbird »

I have a 99 WS-6 which is stock except for Kooks Off Road headers, Y-Pipe and a Flowmaster muffler. I removed the EGR and Air Pump. After installing the performance tune, I'm now generating P0404 & P0405 codes. Can you clarify the correct way to disable the EGR codes? I've disabled these codes individually but I want to be confident in my adjustments. Are there any other adjustments I need to make? The car seems to run great other than a noticable drop in fuel economy.
Thanks!

Make sure you set the AIR and EGR parameters to off in the adjustable parameters and then reinstall the tune.
The mileage is likely related to the EGR codes.
