could you please post the 9R07 for the U7194
the tool i have here tells me i have to restore original backup, but the last tune written IS a original backup. so i tried to supersede the yet installed 9r07 with 9r08 to reset the tool completely, but this doesn't work.
It shows restore backup before use of this update.
I bought the tool from keystone and had this about a year in stock, maybe more. The serial is 181403 and till i have this, it was never married to a vehicle.
Best regards
Flo

is there a VIN/calid on the next screen?
this may indicate that the tool was used to read a backup, but never wrote a tune.

i didn't check this before i started up.
the tool says to it wants the former CROM file, and that was 9R07, but i don't have this in my database.
is there a possibility to set everything to zero without sending this in? the shipping to you and back is more than a new tool.

if the tool is married, it can be unlocked remotely, but there is generally a cost associated...

D**n it... i'll never buy my stuff at keystone again... thank god i am with jcd now...
and the point is after resetting this i still have a "old" tool i can't upgrade over 9R10 or so. so no 2011 support and i just only do new cars...
okay, i'll forget about it and order some more inTunes at Erik/JCD Cars... do you know when the first production run will be at your overseas CMR Dealers?

if the tool was bought less than 2 years ago, we can let you rma it and we'll swap it out for a newer one...but it has to be unlocked.
9r07 works for up to most 09 applications for U7194.
