2010 Rubicon auto with 9r13 crom. I would like to adjust the shift points on my vehicle but have found some confusing settings in the programmer. It appears that the RPM Shift Points setting only adjust WOT shifts as it only has a parameter of 5600-6200 rpms. Is this correct? Also the Part Throttle Shift Point settings have some strange defaults that don't coincide with when the Jeep currently shifts. Some examples are the 1-2 shifts @ 15% APP are default at 8159 rpms and the 1-2 @ 25% APP shows a default of 10,115 rpms. Can you help me understand these settings?

simply put:

if you want to increase the part throttle shift points, increase the values there, if you want them sooner, make the values smaller ;)

Thanks, I assumed that was how to increse or delay the shift point. I got confused when I saw the default 87 tune rpm parameters set higher than the 3.8 would ever rev. Does APP represent at pedal position?

accelerator pedal position, and the values you are seeing are OSS, output shaft speed.

Should these values be labeled as OSS because mine are clearly marked RPM? Also I noticed that the 1-2 @ 25% shows 11807 rpms default but the adjustable parameters show 0-6000. When I try to increase this shift point it goes from 11807 to 6000 and this is the highest value available. I believe it does this with one of the 2-3 shift settings too. Are some of these shift points already maxed out?

Sorry to bug you again Mike. Any updates on this? I've also noticed the parameter to adjust the 3-4(OD) shift is not available in the part throttle shift adjustment. I've only got 1-2 and 2-3 settings which have the confusing RPM numbers noted above. Is there no 3-4 shift control?

I doubt these fixes are at the top of their list. I've been waiting 5 months for an update to this post and support for Cal ID 68043445AH. I was told that shift points were adjustable on the Wrangler before I bought the programmer but it appears its just the WOT shift points that work correctly. The Flashpaq now has additional transmission support on the Wrangler I hear.
