I have a 2007 LBZ 2500hd crew cab 4x4. I just purchased a diablo programer. I plugged it in and went to install the 65 hp performance option and it will not let me. It says that "The tool is not licensed for this car". I have tried all of the other options and it will not let me do anything. I looked at the VIN # and it is my VIN. I know that I have the right programer because it says 06-07 lly and lbz when you plug it in. Please help. Thanks

Looks like you got a used Predator that is still locked to another vehicle, i would contact the people who you bought it from.

I thought that if it was locked to another vehicle it would have thats vehicles VIN in it?

No, the predator is reading the VIN from your PCM when hooked up to your car.
In the Predator, go to the options menu ans select 'show last tune written'
This will tell you what the last tune the Predator wrote to any vehicle.
In order to use it on a different vehicle, this must read 'original backup'.
If it reads anything else, like '85 hp performance tune', that means that tune is still installed in that vehicle, meaning the Predator is still locked to that truck.

Its says orginal tune. When i go to the performace tunes all of them are there. Theres is a towing setting 65 hp 85 hp 120 hp and orignal tune. When i plugged it in for the first time it never made a backup of my trucks factory tune.

It seems as though someone used this tool to pull a backup from another truck before you got it, and did not restore that backup to the truck.
Whatever the case may be, you need to return that Predator to whomever sold it to you and get a new, unused one.
