OBD2 connection

I recently upgraded to a Trinity from a Predator 7I35. I bought a right angle OBD2 connector but the connector doesn't work for my Trinity. It's not the same connector as the cable that came with the Trinity. My original cable plugs into the back of the unit. The new cable has a smaller male connector but I don't have the female slot in the bottom of my unit that I see on the videos. Is my unit an older model with an older connector? What are my options with the right angle cable and with the other connector. Can I have my unit modified to accept the smaller cable in the bottom of the unit as well as using the connnector in the back of the unit. Please advise me. Thanks

no, your unit is a newer model with the molex plug on the back... you got an older cord for the older/original models....
contact the place you bought it from to return/exchange it...

RA is in progress. What are my options to have a back up cable with the molex connector? Nothing is listed on the website.
Thanks

and I'm not sure about a right-angle plug with the molex, you can ask them about that as well...
