Rev limiter disable for 2010 Silverado 6.2

Post by dpb119 »

Do I need the TCM support to remove the rev limiter on the shifting? Drives me nuts. When will this be released?

I think so.. I have a 2010 with the 6.2 as well. Seems i can adjust the rev limiter for the 1st to 2nd shift, but nothing after that.

I think the only thing that you can adjust (for now) is the idle rpm, and speed limit....That is until the TCM support is released.

to adjust shift points, yes, you will need tcm/tranny support in order to change that...

there is an rpm adjustment you can do, which will raise the rpm/rev limiter, but in order to hit the higher rpm limit, you will need to shift the truck manually... if you just leave it in D and drive, it will still shift at normal stock setting...
