First of all I want to thank lew for helping me out...

vehicle: 07 silverado NBS 4.8

Heres what happened. Went to install a tune...got the error Application has a crc error. so after 10 minutes i unplugged. It tried to restore and it failed. then it tried to restore again and it got to like 16% then again 24% again 33% again 15%.

So now im sitting here with the negative battery cable pulled for 30 minutes. In hopes that it will start...But if any support or if mike is listening....

help!

Did u try force original backup option?

i dont know how to do that...lew didnt tell me and mike was out partying down...lol

Look in settings I believe there's a force original backup option. Dont have my tuner as I'm on the road but its there.

Try hooking to pc maybe it'll redownload update?

In computer world crc errors usually corrupt file so wondeif the tuner got corrupt through voltage or something. As it is I can't restore to stock either to return my unit till they fix the bug,

exactly im an IT guy so thats the oh eff that came to my mind

So truck is dead?

If you can get a copy of the application file you might be able to drag it onto the inTune and get it to reinstall. Lew may have the latest version. I only have access to the older test files.
