Hi Mike,
I received the new tune from you for my 2004 Vette a couple of weeks ago and am just now getting ready to install it. I almost screwed up, downloaded the custom tune into the Predator, (with your help on the computer), and went to install the custom tune and as I was sitting in the car, I thought that maybe I should put the stock tune back in first. Called DiabloSport and they said yes, install the stock tune back in car first, went and uploaded the custom tune back in computer and tried to download the stock tune back into Predator and it said invalid file format, I realize that the custom tune is different then the stock tune but, I am trying to download the same tune that I sent to you. When I uploaded the stock tune to send to you, did it just copy the stock tune and is there the stock tune in the Predator? I want to make sure that I'm doing this right.... Thanks, as always.......bob.

Hey Mike or 06 MONTE dude,

Can you post what was done, or even "Limp1" what you did? I'll be in the same custom tune boat soon and of course want it to be a smooth transition.
Thanks, Joe

not sure what went on there, like Mike said - I was confused about his post as well.

However, to install a custom tune via the Predator:

1. Restore your original backup to your car.

2. Hook up the Predator to your PC.

3. Go into Options > Custom Tune > Import Custom Tune -- let it start the import process, screen will freeze at like 2% or 5%

4. Start up GMLS2InterfaceInstaller app on your PC.

5. Click the "Send File" button

6. Select your Diablo/Predator custom tune file that you have on your PC

7. It will start sending it to your Predator.

8. It'll tell you when it's done, Predator screen will show "Download OK" or something like that.

9. Hook up the Predator to your car.

10. Main menu will now show "Custom Tune" at the top, instead of Performace Tune.

11. Select Custom Tune

12. Predator will backup your original tune from your car.

13. Select Install Tune.

14. Custom Tune installs and then you're done.

Sorry, Didn't see this sooner...
On my 2004 Corvette, you DON'T put the stock tune back in the car when you download the 'Custom' tune into it! Send DiabloSport your stock tune, they will 'Fix' it for you, then, they will send it back to you thru e-mail, put it in your Predator Interface, download to the Predator, then plug Predator into car, upload right over your Performance tune that is in car. That's it!
My car is better than before, was having torque converter issues, No More!
.......thanks.....bob.
