Predator Duramax NO RESPONSE desperately need to change tune

There is no part number only a sticker that says "duramax"

just bought truck, predator was already installed, seller told me he had the truck setup to the 65hp tune.

I need to change the tune to tow mode since I need to go pickup a 12,000 trailer.


Predator powers up goes to main menu when you hit tune it says "error no response is ignition on"

Yes park brake is on, yes ignition is in "on Position".

I have disabled everything that I could think of that might possibly be interfering including...
Astro Start, Tekonsha Brake controller, cb radio etc.

I have tried multiple times and never anything but the same response as above when trying to communicate.

Everything that I can tell about this unit is that it appears to have failed.

Is there way to send this unit in for service

Are you sure the ignition is in the ON position and not accessory? On is the last notch before it starts.

This is a realllly old Predator, at least 7 or 8 years old.

it can be sent in for the hardware upgrade which is $99 + shipping, but the truck would need to be reflashed before you could use the upgraded tool.
