Did I lose factory tune?

I let a friend diagnose check engine light code on his car. Now I'm freaking out I might have lost the factory code for my car. Is this the case or is it still stored in the memory. How would i know for sure.

SImply put it should not of lost anything. You can check by simply selecting, Tool Info, then select, Tool Status or Vehicle Info and it should display the required info.
You should also be able to go to the USB drive and under the tunes file it should have your original backup and the Last Tune Written

No, your stock tune is stored inthe tool until you restore it to the vehicle it came from
