Whats the difference in Manual/Automatic when starting the 65hp tune in U7180?

My guess is the tune is the same except the manual does not defuel during shifts. :?:

Actually the reason for selecting auto or manual is to tell the tool what live data to display if you choose that option.

This forum is convinced it changes the shifting and defueling.

The tune changes we make are the same in manual and automatic calibrations.

I understand the tunes installed might be the same, but on the manual setting would there be any shift pattern changes? For instance, how could you install a defueling tune on manual when the computer does not control the shifts?

The manual /automatic selection in the Predator is for determining what adjustable parameters to be displayed in the duramax programmer.
