Data Viewer Question
Can the Data View be used to log 0-60 and other performance type parameters?
RE: Data Viewer Question
nope, no performance parameters (like a g-tech) are available...

RE: Data Viewer Question
No, it has nothing at all to do with TCM support.
The hardware in the Predator will not support that.
Thanks

Would be easy to figure out from the log. It records speed versus time after all. You could also calculate quarter mile times as a function of speed versus time as well.
Diablo could easily add this functionality to the DataView if they wanted.
Once I get the unit, suppose to arrive thursday, I'll check out the dataview a little more. If we can export into an excel spreadsheet it should be rather easy to make a macro to do the calculations. I'll let you know.

not really.. cuz it only takes data snapshots every so often... every certain amount of seconds... so more than likely you were faster than that, but by the time the next data-record cycle came around to record that time interval, you were already past it

It is. It's showing me at about 4.2 seconds 0-60. Thats about right for the conditions. Just hang jimmy, I'm working on the macros. But, I'm showing 6 thousands of a second between data writes in a log. Perhaps thats the problem the 7194's are having, we are grabbing data too fast. If they were to slow it down, the device isn't really going to able to give us the data fast enough to do these calculations. I'd rather it stay the way it is than increase the interval between data logs to increase the log time.jimmybuckets wrote:I'm sure sample rate has something to do with it...my only question is that there were around 650 samples in that time span from 0-60...seems like it should be pretty close...just poking around here a little
Best of both worlds would be to be able to select the data log interval.
Worse case, its a much better device as is, than what the others are. So I wont be upgrading it if it loses this functionality.
