2008 Dodge Avenger SE (2.4L)
Please can anyone at Diablo consider making a programmer for this car. Most all the owners I've talked to...okay all the 2.4L owners that dont own a rental company want a programmer. Pretty much every 2.4L Dodge avenger has an aftermarket intake and exhaust among other mods, but no way to tune or change the attributes of the ECU...yet it's not for lack of desire or searching. Please consider it.

Zero potential from the 2.4. Unless they have nothing better to do and the 2.4 shares its ECU with the Hemi cars or trucks, its not gonna happen. Market is way too small.
RE: 2008 Dodge Avenger SE (2.4L)
Thats too bad, because I have a feeling that alot more consumers bought these vehicles than you give it credit for. The demand is there, and as time moves forward more demand will arise. Until someone can show me good official numbers as to what the 2.4L sold, then my opinion that it sold just as much as the 2.7L and 3.5L stands firm.
RE: 2008 Dodge Avenger SE (2.4L)
Sold maybe, but modding, nope. It takes tens of thousands of sales to pay for development, and there aren't that many people modding 2.4L Avengers and Sebrings. People who wanted any semblance of performance, and had to have a smallish Chrysler, bought the 3.5.
RE: 2008 Dodge Avenger SE (2.4L)
Seriously I respect your opinion, but when I say a grand majority as in 90% or greater of the 2.4L owners have and continue to mod their Avengers, I really mean it so get that bull out of here man. Seriously show me a consumer owned 2.4L Dodge Avenger that isnt modded with a Cold Air Intake and/or aftermarket exhaust, lightweight crank pulley, performance spark plugs, thermostat, etc. This whole choice of being ignorant and utterly disrespectful (downright nasty if you ask me) to 2.4L owners makes legitimate companies like Diablo Sport look like a farce in their eyes. A 2.4L owner today looking for a Diablo Sport programmer but turned away is a Hemi owner in the future using the competition's brand. There is an entire online community dedicated to and full of 2.4L past, present, and future mods with an absolute multitude of input from ALOT of owners...owners completely ignored. To say that demand isnt there is to pretend with no hard data to back it up. Also I find it extremely hard to believe that all the supported cars sold tens of thousands of programmers each...it really seems that excuses are being pulled from somebody's fifth point of contact. If Diablo Sport is too small, or just plain not capable of performing to task for the 2.4L owners then just say it. Dont give random vague and irrelevant excuses. Or better yet Why doesn't Diablo just say that they are not in this business to make money by being first to market with a device that a grand majority of a highly ignored group of owners are interested in purchasing and using and possibly advertising.

Not to be mean or anything, but I highly doubt they'll ever do anything for the 2.4L. Which, when you think about it is silly because more and more auto makers are going to 4 bangers and V6s. And with a tuner, anyone can add a turbo or supercharger to any engine....thereby giving good performance for that engine.
And the reason I doubt they'll make one for the 2.4L though is because they won't even make one for the 3.5L Avenger even though they've tuned the 3.5L...they just won't do the 6-speed that is in quite a few cars now. Anywho, that's just my $0.02.

Don't count on it. They promised two years ago to produce a tuner for the 2.4l if we got 100 signatures. We did and they did nothing.
