2006 F250 - EGR delete check engine light???

Ok. I am new at this. Bought a diablo predator just after i bough the truck about 5 years ago but never really used it. I recently had to do the EGR delete because of issues with it, and now the check engine light is on.
The shop that put it on said I would have to buy a custom tuner to get rid of the code. Do i need to buy a different programmer or can i do this with the predator?
