intune saying it already is linked to another vehicle?

Just bought a intune and when i go to tune my vehicle it says it expected and another vin and gives me the vin and instructs me to unplug? I think someone already used this?? Any help would be appreciated!

where did it come from?
Have you contacted the retailer to see if maybe they shipped the wrong one by accident?

did you buy it used or brand new?

if you bought it used, then the person who sold it to you did not restore the original backup stock tune to their vehicle first in order to unlock/reset the intune so that you could use it...

if you bought it brand new, then contact the place you bought it from.
