I have a new Diablo U7198x, it is not communicating with my windows 7 laptop, can anyone explain to a newby how to make these two work together?

GI into the InTune drive, it will show as a CD, right click on the InTune file and run as admin. That should get you started and the InTune updater should be an icon in your tray.

he has a predator 7198, not an intune....

you have the usb/serial cable and power adapter for it? did you install the usb drivers for the usb/serial cable?

thanks guys for the responses, yes monte i have downloaded all the drivers yet none seem to work. i got the usb connector kit and adapter with it as well. i D/L'd the gm 99-02 predator interface and the dataviewer 3.3 as well, generic question here, would i need to D/L the intune stuff as well? I put the predator tune on the car and it works magnificently, i just cant connect the Laptop-win7 64 bit type to the device, the cables seem to connect, but no data gets transfered. thanks for your help

k.. try a new/different usb/serial cable... many many many times I've seen people have a bad cable with issues like this, and changing the cable works...

Thanks Lew, I didn't even notice that part and just assumed he had an inTune posting in this section.

tried the second cable with same results. any other ideas?I am at a loss here. happy as hell with the P, however it is bothersome that i cant use it to its full potential...
